The configuration page usually has an address of 192.168.0.1 that has to be entered on a web browser, once you open that page you will see that it is password protected. Why because, it prevents other users in the network from accessing and modifying the Internet or Network settings. The default login details of almost every router is same, however there are some exceptions depending on the manufacturer. If you cant find details written on your Router, try entering the Router manufacturer name on this database. For TP-Link and Huawei Routers, you can try the following: Username: admin Password: admin Recover Password from Router Backup File If you have a Router configuration backup file saved for rainy day. Good news you can extract the Router password along with PPTP, PPPoE, WiFi and many other passwords using it. There is a program called RouterPassView that does the job, you just need Router backup file for that. Perform a Factory Reset on your Router (Recommended method) Factory reset is also known as hard reset. It reverts the router to the original condition that you bought. The ROM file can be accessed at 192.168.0.1rom-0 Once you access the address, your web browser automatically starts downloading the ROM file, later you can decompile the ROM for the login details. The problem is that it requires extensive programming knowledge and it only works on old Routers containing Huawei chipset. You can Google your Router model number to find its vulnerabilities.
